I’ve recently had the opportunity to do what I’ve always wanted to do, which is write. I write short fiction, long fiction, and non-fiction essays.
I was politics editor for Imperial College’s award winning student publication Felix while a student there; I’ve contributed articles to the UK’s Liberal Democrat blog LibDemVoice; I’ve been featured on Wattpad, and in 2016 won one of their annual awards; I’ve read at literature events around the San Francisco Bay Area, including InsideStoryTime, Barely Published, the San Francisco Writers Workshop Annual Benefit, and LitCrawl; and in 2017, I won a prize in the LitQuake essay competition.
My mother is from Hong Kong, and my father is from Malaysia. I grew up in London, but currently live in California.
